Scientists from Mordovia has developed ninepence to work with viruses

The Institute of nanotechnology and nanomaterials Mordovia has developed a tool for working with objects the size of about 30 nanometers. Nanoentity will be useful in the manipulation of viruses, nanotubes and other objects that can be seen only in the electron microscope.

The thickness of a human hair hundreds of times the size of objects that can be investigated with special tweezers. Such devices already exist and are in the world, but their functionality is quite limited, and larger than the domestic equivalent.

Development will be useful in modern laboratories involved in nanotechnology. While the unit is undergoing tests. Scientists plan to launch small-scale production in the near future.
