Scientists from Italy have found a protein that blocks HIV

In every human body there is a protein that prevents the introduction of human immunodeficiency virus and the appearance of the disease. Perhaps this information will give an impetus to the development of new drugs for the treatment of HIV and AIDS.

Serinc5 protein molecule blocks the ingress and the spread of the virus in the body. However, there are modified forms of HIV can bypass the natural system of protecting a person from disease.

Modification of protein Serinc5, experts say, will bring medicine to the understanding of HIV. Maybe substance will be the basis for a new generation of drugs. Now scientists are planning a series of experiments on the "masking" of protein from HIV, the pathogen had not noticed the approaching danger and was killed in the first moments after getting into the blood.
