Scientists: children from late mothers have better health

International research group conducted a study and proved that children born to mothers aged 26 years and older, have better health and better IQ scores compared with children from young mothers.

The study itself took 20 years. We evaluated the health outcomes of children from Brazil, South Africa, India, the Philippines, Guatemala. The lack of weight was observed in 30-40% of children from young mothers (under 19 years). In this group, delayed growth and mental development were recorded significantly more often.

Higher was the level of intelligence of children from mothers aged 26 years and older. Such children it was easier in school, and the process of remembering information given to them easier.
