Scientists: barley protects against diabetes

Experts consider barley to the group of Superfoods. This cereal is often used as an additive to porridges and bread, but the barley itself is a very useful product. Its using in food reduces appetite and normalizes blood sugar levels, says NTDV, referring to the results of the study.

The volunteers were asked each of your Breakfast to start with barley bread. Were present and a control group for comparison of the data obtained. It turned out that the use of barley in food increased the sensitivity of tissues to insulin and normalizing appetite.

The desired effect occurred during contact of fibers of barley from the intestinal wall. Vegetable fibers contributed to the formation of beneficial bacteria needed for normal digestion. That's why scientists recommend to add products with barley in food every day.
