Scientists: antibiotics impair the development of children

The average child in the U.S. to two years receives three courses of antibiotics and about 10 courses to 10 years, reports Medical News Today. Proved the influence of antibiotics on the formation of obesity and juvenile arthritis. A recent study indicates, the uncontrolled use of this group of drugs leads to impaired development of children.

Laboratory mice, scientists conducted three courses of antibiotics: tylosin, amoxicillin, or two tools at once. For comparison we used a control group of animals. Antibiotics violated the intestinal flora of rodents, which could affect their physical development.

Scientists emphasize the importance of taking antibiotics strictly on the evidence. Self-medication with antibiotics in early age may cause serious complications. Before using this group of drugs you should always consult with a physician.
