Researchers: mother's depression affects child's health

Mothers with depressive disorder is much more difficult to build relationships with their own children. To such conclusion experts from the University Binghamton (USA).

In the experiment, the scientists measured the heart rate in children aged 4 to 11 years. It is believed that this indicator reflects the level of social activity of children. The data obtained was superimposed on the mental status of mothers. Still the study participants were invited to take part in the discussions of positive and negative themes.

In the absence of symptoms of depression mom in most cases can easily cope with the job and rapidly found with my children a common language. If psychological problems were found, the relationship with the children became less strong.
