People who were exposed in childhood to psychological violence, tend to develop migraine. So say experts from the University of Toledo. As proof of his words, they take the results of the study with the participation of 14,5 thousand volunteers aged from 24 to 32 years old.
In the first stage, the scientists conducted a survey and found out from volunteers who were abused in childhood. After that data was overlaid on data on the presence or absence of migraine in subjects.
According to the results, 47% were exposed to psychological violence in childhood, 18% have experienced the burdens of physical violence, 5% - sexual. Migraine scientists have identified 14% of volunteers. It is interesting to others. Migraine was present in 61% of the people exposed to childhood psychological abuse.
