Proper nutrition of the mother reduces the likelihood of heart disease in the child

Mother, eating properly during pregnancy, reduce the risk of heart disease among their own child, showed the research of experts from the University of Utah. They conducted a survey of 19,000 women and learned their diet in the year of pregnancy, says Zee News.

Half of the mothers gave birth to healthy children, the other half of the survey showed various anomalies of the cardiovascular system. Scientists noticed that a proper diet and multivitamin supplements significantly reduced the risk of heart anomalies.

Pregnancy is an important stage in a woman's life. In the period of carrying a child, you should eliminate foods-allergens. The diet should be balanced with the needs of the mother. Don't forget the calories, it usually is considerably higher than that required for a woman in normal times.
