29 December 2012 on the territory of Ukraine begin to act in the new rules, according to which the nationwide sale of medicines in pharmacy stalls is prohibited.
As reported in the state service on medicinal products, the sale of drugs is permitted only in pharmacies or pharmacy items.
This decision was made due to the fact that the pharmacy could not provide adequate service: they were not normal conditions in order to serve customers, and storage conditions of medicines left much to be desired.

The decision to close the kiosks will in no way affect the ability of residents to use pharmacies as originally pharmacies in Ukraine was more than kiosks: according to statistics, at the end of 2012 was recorded and acted almost 14,8 thousand pharmacies. In addition, the trend of development of the pharmacy business testified that pharmacies were preferable to open than the kiosks.
