Pleurisy

Pleurisy is the inflammation of the pleura, which is characterized by the formation of fibrinous plaque. This inflammatory disease is often complicates the various processes that occur in the chest wall, lungs and diaphragm.

There are two types of pleural effusion: dry and vpotnye. They are called febriany and exsudative respectively. Depending on the form of pleurisy vary its symptoms, the progress of the disease and its treatment.

Treatment of pleurisy consists of antibiotic therapy, which is inherent for the treatment of infectious-allergic pleurisy, and during which the use of antibiotics and chemicals. Together with the prescription of antibiotics, it is often necessary to reorganize the pleural cavity lavage using antiseptic solutions.

With these procedures in the treatment of pleurisy is assigned the administration of drugs against inflammation, as well as drugs that aim to mobilize the immune functions of the body.

During treatment shows a strict bed rest. This particularly applies to patients with acute pleurisy. We should not forget about vitamins, most of which should be proteins.
