Researchers from Novosibirsk state University have created a method of diagnosis of cancer by analysis of blood plasma. To date, no similar analysis exists.
Scientists believe that the plasma of healthy and sick people with cancer is different. Using spectroscopy these differences can be identified. The first experiments confirmed this theory.
Yet the spectroscopy technique is difficult to call available. Requires expensive equipment and devices of large size. In the practice of medicine in the coming years, the method introduced is unlikely.
Now scientists are working to develop a portable spectrometer, with its compact size and relatively low price. It is likely that in the future spectrometry plasma baseline blood test, along with common analysis and biochemistry.
