NASA publishes the first color image of Pluto and Charon

The spacecraft NASA's New Horizons sent to Earth the first in the history of mankind, the image of Pluto and its satellite Charon.

The photograph was taken from a distance of more 110 million km, according to the press service of NASA. Launched in 2006, the New Horizons apparatus 14 July, is closer to Pluto, which will be followed by the first color and black-and-white photographs of the dwarf planet.
