It will happen in 2018
NASA is going to send the International space station's first astronaut-African-American - Jeanette Epps. Tentatively it will happen in 2018. Jeanette Epps will appear on the ISS as a flight engineer. It is reported that Epps is working for a 51-year-old commander Andrew Feustel.
"The composition of each of the ISS crew brings in common cause, something of their own distinctive. Andrew and Jeanette both have something to share.
