NASA has published a satellite photo of snow in the Sahara

NASA, in his Twitter has published the satellite imagery confirming a rare phenomenon in the Sahara desert.

Snow fell Wednesday in the North of the Sahara desert to the Algerian town of ain sefra. The snow lay for about a day, then began to melt. It is noted that according to meteorologists, the snow fell in the area for the first time since February 1979. Winter in the area where the snow fell, the temperature can drop to zero degrees Celsius.
