Muscles reduce the likelihood of death from cardiovascular disease

Scientists have found a correlation between the risk of death from diseases of the cardiovascular system and degree of development of muscles. As it turned out, the higher the index of development of muscle mass, the lower the probability of death from stroke and heart attack. This is indicated by the results of the work of scientists from the University of California.

In the experiment, the researchers examined 6 thousand volunteers. Someone was fully healthy, while the others had a number of chronic diseases. Assessing the role of muscle mass in the formation of health, the researchers came to the conclusion that inflated people are less likely to die from cardiac death.

That is why physical condition is so important to human health. Experts in medicine recommend to pay attention to their physique and more often to go to the gym.
