More than half of Britons in 10 years will be obese – scientists

By 2025 the number of people with obesity in the UK will be over half the population of the country, experts say. A similar trend is observed in other developed European countries.

Scientists from the world Federation of obesity published data. According to recent trends, the number of people with obesity from year to year will only grow. After 10 years, more than half of the population of Britain will suffer from excess weight. Refers to the following figures: 75% of men, 62% women are overweight.

Experts warn that if the world does not reconsider its position on nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, a healthy weight will become a rarity, and all the power and the resources invested in health, will be ineffective because of excess food and lack of exercise.
