Microneedle will replace traditional injections and relieve patients from pain

Experts from the University of Akron (USA) have created a three-dimensional element of microscopic needles. With it, doctors can inject drugs without causing patients pain. It is reported Zee News.

The needles themselves are dissolved, when in contact with the patient's skin. Technology plan to use for mass vaccination and treatment of skin cancer. The element consists of 25 needles, the tip of each to a diameter of 20 micrometers. Needle length is about one millimeter.

Print this element is a pretty laborious process. Now scientists are working to simplify the technology. The second objective is to reproach the process of getting the product of microscopic needles into the bloodstream. While the microneedle lagging far behind on this parameter from traditional injections.
