Lovers of pork and beef are more likely to die a premature death

In total the study involved 600 thousand people. Within ten years, researchers monitored the diet of people. It turned out, the lovers of pork, beef and other red meat are faced with premature death more often those who prefer chicken or Turkey.

White meat, the scientists conclude, helps the body protection from cancer and diseases of the cardiovascular system. The lowest mortality was observed in vegetarians who refuse meat completely.

Researchers from Harvard medical school pay attention to the Mediterranean diet. The abundance of seafood alienates biological aging at the genetic level. However, any balanced diet with a predominance of plant foods and optimal calorie positive effect on the human body and reduces the risk of chronic diseases, including diabetes and joint problems.
