During the hugs, kisses, sex produces the hormone oxytocin, the "hormone of happiness". Scientists from Harvard medical school found: this substance helps in weight reduction.
In total the study involved 25 male volunteers. Half of them had obesity of varying severity. The researchers injected the first group, the dose of oxytocin, the second received a placebo.
After a short period of time the volunteers were offered large portions of food. Research has shown that oxytocin reduces appetite and helps with weight control. Not only scientists of the 21st century, but the classical writers described the magical effect of love: loss of appetite, elevated mood and the desire to act.
