Fans of chocolate, which is justified by the fact that dark chocolate is a useful product, must radically reconsider its preference for sweets, state specialists. Previously it was thought that dark chocolate contains a large number of procyanidins, which reduce the pressure and help the heart, says the Agency The Daily Mail.
However, despite the fact that dark chocolate is actually more useful than milk or white chocolate infused with antioxidants in it, at the same time it is the most nutritious and contains more saturated fats.
For example, 40 g of chocolate with 85% content of cocoa powder bear 227 calories and 12 grams of saturated fat (it's 60 percent of the daily requirement). But this, the same quantity of milk chocolate contains 210 calories and 7 grams of saturated fat (37 percent from the norm in the day).

Based on the above data, nutritionists advised not to consume more than 1-2 pieces of chocolate (I mean segments) per day. Much better to replace the chocolate with red apples. One Apple contains as much procyanidins, as in 47 g of dark chocolate and calories 150 less.
