Researchers from China have managed to isolate the gene, the presence of which increases the likelihood of loneliness. According to scientific works, it reduces the communicative skills of a person approximately two times.

Researchers from Peking University found a correlation between the concentration of serotonin in the brain and the activity of the gene alone. Low serotonin affects a person's mood and appeared to affect genetic structure.

People with a "broken" copy of the gene, have a reduced attraction to the opposite sex and cannot experience a sincere feeling of trust and intimacy. In relationships such people can be difficult.

Interesting another fact. The researchers noticed that the social status, earnings and appearance on loneliness have no effect.
