Scientists from the U.S. established: injections of Botox can stop the progression of gastric cancer. The data were confirmed in the experiments with laboratory mice.
Scientists watched the development of tumors in animals exposed to Botox injections. The lifespan of mice under such stimulation was higher than in the control group. Botox blocks the transmission of nerve impulses and reduces the stimulation of cancer cells.
Scientists believe that this technique has certain therapeutic potential. There is still a lot of research and experimentation before the first clinical trials and the use of Botox as a remedy against stomach cancer.
