In obesity fast food not to blame, scientists say

Scientists believe that the problem of obesity in most countries is not only connected with the proliferation of fast food restaurants. And blame the diet, and low levels of physical activity, and genetic predisposition to weight gain.

"If we really want change the situation, we need to pay attention to the whole diet in General, and on the level of physical activity," says David just (Cornell University in Ithaca).

According to a recent study, only a small group of people earns obesity in fast food restaurants. Others cook junk food at home and not exercising.

"All Americans, whose weight is between 56 pounds and 140 pounds, consume about the same amount of fast food, soda, sweets and other unhealthy foods. This suggests that we look for the causes of the epidemic of obesity, not where they are actually" summarizes the just.
