In Georgia built the largest in Eastern Europe medical center

REGNUM news Agency reported that the President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili during his visit to the United States met with Georgian doctors and told them about the beginning of construction in Tbilisi medical center. This centre, according to the President, will be the largest and the former Soviet Union and throughout Eastern Europe.

Saakashvili added that Georgia will open approximately one hundred and fifty new modern hospitals. So, in a country thousands of new vacancies for health professionals. Medical center, under construction in Tbilisi experts from Korea, will be one of them. This serves as evidence of active development of public health in Georgia.

Mikhail Saakashvili added that the cost of the project in Tbilisi will be up to three hundred million dollars.

According to the President of Georgia, visitors from other countries can count on the service in the new center, as well as residents of Tbilisi. Thus, according to Mikhail Saakashvili, medicine will be able to generate the same income as tourism.

Georgian President urged doctors who have moved abroad, to return Home. The only way the new center will be able to flourish in the coming years after its completion. He urged them to participate in the development of healthcare in Georgia and to share with colleagues, obtained abroad, valuable experience.
