40 thousand pounds of frozen ground beef sent to Georgia, was withdrawn by the Ministry of agriculture of the USA due to the possible content of Escherichia coli O157: H7.
The meat was produced in early September in Texas and shipped to Georgia for further distribution, including public schools. However, most of the packaging of the product has not left the warehouse, and the school has not received the stuffing. The Ministry said on 22 September that the laboratory test gave a positive result on the content of Escherichia coli in beef.

To avoid the possibility of infection with Escherichia coli O157: H7, which causes diarrhea, dehydration and, in severe cases, kidney failure. Population, if a certain batch of meat was already implemented in the shops, it is strongly advised to fry the meat at a temperature of not lower than 160 degrees.
