Harvard scientists: the method of counting calories is outdated

Scientists from Harvard University have found that the method by which the calculation of the caloric content of the product by the manufacturer, is obsolete. In every second case, this method shows an incorrect result.

They explain his statement that this method is invented that almost one century ago, American chemist, and in those times of modern methods of cooking and processing foods did not exist. So, for example, vegetable puree more caloric than the vegetable, because for digesting liquid food a person spends less energy. Thus, the calories that are written on the packaging of products that are more conservative than it actually is.
