Girls are prone to suicide at an earlier age

The American Academy of Pediatrics published a study of suicidal behavior among adolescents. The aim of this study was to determine the circumstances and characteristics of suicidal behavior in children of different age groups.

Researchers have studied the history of 250 cases of suicidal behavior. 65.5 percent were girls older than 14 years, 26.4 percent of girls aged 10 to 14 years.
