Genetic mutation can cause skin cancer

Experts have found a gene KNSTRN, changes in the structure which can cause the development of skin cancer. Refers to ultraviolet effects on the genetic apparatus and the disruption of its normal operation. Normal gene KNSTRN involved in the process of dividing a cell's DNA into two parts.

After mutation, the gene becomes a factor causing pathological and chaotic cell division. This leads to neoplastic process and skin cancer. Carcinoma is second in prevalence among cancers. That's why scientists are confident in the prospects of the selected research areas.
