Frequent TV viewing may negatively affect the mental condition of the child, convinced American scientists. It turns out that these children are not able to understand the condition of a loved one: sad if he is offended, or is configured to communicate.
To prove their theory, the researchers conducted a study involving more than a hundred young children (one to three years). In addition, it took the interviewing adults about the time that the child spends every day behind the screen. Researchers were interested in whether there is a relationship between daily pageviews TV shows and cartoons, the attitude of parents to the education of the child and his psychological state.
The study showed that the more the child spent time in front of the TV, the worse it was socialized. This was expressed in the inability to understand that he feels his friend or loved one. Good results have shown the children with whom my parents were doing, to explain why their favorite characters from cartoons behave this way.
Scientists have noted that often stories on TV are superficial. They do not provide the whole essence of the situation, which required a small child. Therefore, frequent viewing of such programs may violate the behavioral responses of Chad in her small age. These changes can be preserved and projected at an older age and adolescence.
