Found the remains of ancient man with cancer

Scientists got the answer to the old question: suffering, whether ancient people from cancer? Russian and Canadian experts conducted a study of the remains of ancient man and discovered he had traces of malignant neoplastic process.

The remains were discovered in 1992 on the banks of the Angara river. The skeleton, according to scientists, could belong to a man of 35-45 years old, died in the fifth century BC. The experts drew attention to the structure of the bone: it was the sense that she was damaged by insects.

For a long time, scientists could not understand why such changes of the bone. Radiographic analysis showed that the ancient man when life formed carcinoma with metastasis to the bone. This case is the earliest evidence of cancer. The disease seems to have always existed.
