Experts from the Oceanographic Institute SCRIPPS claim that in some cases fish may be hazardous to health. The conditions in which cultivated fish does not always meet sanitary standards. As a result, the tissues accumulate hazardous substances that enter the body with food.
Better to give preference to fish grown in special farms with strict control over the quality of water. Harvested from small lakes in the river fish are the most dangerous. Some chemical compounds can easily penetrate into the bloodstream of fish through their gills and accumulate throughout the life cycle. Then heavy metals and other substances attach to proteins and in this form into the human body.
The situation is similar with meat, dairy products. At particular risk are small children with reduced immunity. They have an increased risk of toxicity of chemical compounds.
