Excessive physical activity leads to alcoholism - scientists

Experts from America discovered: people experiencing excessive exercise, have an increased craving for alcohol and are at particular risk for alcoholism.

Only the study conducted by northwestern University USA took part 150 volunteers aged 18 to 89 years. Within three weeks they were asked to collect all the data about their physical activity and alcohol consumption using a smartphone.

Scientists in the analysis of the data found a correlation. Was in the days of severe physical exertion craving for alcohol is much stronger, sometimes to overcome it costs a lot of energy.

Particularly acute physical stress and craving for alcohol can be felt in the second half of the week, from Thursday to Sunday.
