Endurance training increases the duration of life of older people

Should not throw sports, going to retire, scientists say. After analyzing the information about 30 000 people over the age of 65 years, they concluded that aerobic training of low and moderate intensity to protect the body from many diseases and improve overall endurance.

According to the findings, older people involved in sports, have reduced the risk of death. This is evidenced by the publication Zee News. These volunteers, according to the study, 41% reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease and from cancer – by 19%.

Strong muscles, active blood circulation and powerful lungs in old age, ensure a happy old age, scientists say. Sports pensioners are much less likely to face obesity, diabetes, diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
