So according to scientists from Ghent University. They conducted an experiment, sending out two thousand fictitious résumés to employers.
All the resumes had a similar description and the same level of education and skills. Differed only attached pictures and profiles in social networks, writes The Daily Mail. Experts noticed that people with an attractive appearance and "correct" profile to network on Facebook 40% are invited to interview. Apparently, the social network is a source of additional knowledge about a potential employee. Scientists recommend to use this when applying for a job.
