Constant empathy only gets in the way of true emotions. So say psychologists from the University of würzburg. They conducted a study and proved that is not always empathy is a useful trait.

Sympathy, according to the study, hinders the person soberly assess the situation. In total, the study involved 200 volunteers. They agreed on the passage of a number of tests and surveys to determine the psychological type of personality.

The study showed that when a developed sense of empathy (ability to survive) people worse than others could explain the essence of the video. Unemotional volunteers, on the contrary, better able to cope with the task.
