Created a mobile application to detect HIV

For a formal diagnosis of HIV infection requires a special study, which takes a few days. Bioingenieria of Columbia University has developed an application for smartphones, is able to determine the presence or absence of the HIV virus in human blood. For rapid analysis takes only 15 minutes.
