Constant stress leads to memory loss

A team from Ohio state University noticed that regular stress affects brain function. Scientists in the experiment was constantly irritated rodents. As a result, animals disrupted spatial memory, writes Business Standard.

Mice were taught to pass the maze. Regular meetings with the aggressors knocked animals confused and equated all you received in the passage of job experience to zero. If the mice not subjected to stress was, they quickly found a way out of the maze.

Stress one of the precipitating factors for the development of depression, scientists believe. Constant exposure to stress compromises the immune system, brain. The researchers believe that their findings will help to reveal the problems of anxiety and depression more deeply. This should help in exploring the mysterious group of mental illness.
