Coffee reduces the risk of cancer

Women who drink more than three cups of coffee a day are 20 percent less likely to get sick basal cell carcinoma ( slow-growing form of cancer) compared with those who drink less than a Cup per month. Among men, the risk is reduced by 9 percent.

Scientists from Harvard medical school analyzed the health 72921 people in the period from June 1984 to June 2008, among which 22786 patients were diagnosed with basal cancer.

It turned out that the largest protective effect of coffee gives against squamous cell cancer and melanoma.

It is known that basal carcinoma represents 75 percent of all cases of cancer of the skin, most often this disease occurs in people with blond hair and green or blue eyes, it manifests itself in painful sensations on the skin, bleeding in the skin and often spreads to other parts of the body.
