Children experiencing violence and abuse in the future become poor

Researchers from Crescenzago University conducted a survey of 31 women. All participants in the childhood I experienced humiliation, violence and lack of attention of parents. Scientists have tried to establish how much childhood trauma has an impact on the further development of the personality. It turned out that first of all the humiliation and aggression of parents in childhood affect future income and financial situation.

Scientists have found: women suffering from physical abuse and neglect in childhood, more often had a low income, were unable to provide for their children, says Zee News. Adverse childhood experiences was often associated with lack of food and other necessities.

"Hunger and poverty for many reasons. We found that one of them is the children's trauma"" - commented on the results, Mariana Chilton, founder and author of the study.
