Cells of the immune system will help in the fight against excess weight - scientists

Researchers from the UK have found a new way of dealing with excess weight. It is based on the use of cell immunity.

Scientists from Weill Cornell Medical School found that cells of the second group ILC2s belonging to the group of lymphoid cells, accelerate the process of burning fat and make the body metabolism faster.

In the study, experts have discovered that people with overweight activity ILC2s - cells is significantly lower than in people with normal weight. The lack of ILC2s and obesity, scientists say, in some way connected to our body.

More research is needed to expand this relationship to prove cause and effect of obesity and its relationship with the activity of immune cells. If the assumption of scientists confirmed, then the world will speak about a new type of obesity and innovative way to treat it.
