British scientists plan to immerse the person into hibernation

The experiment is of great value for future space exploration. Experts from the European space Agency plan to immerse volunteers in a state of hibernation, when all bodily functions slow down repeatedly.

Some animals in inhospitable conditions hibernate. In this state they can be located for months. Simple life forms (bacteria, viruses, protozoa) are able to be in suspended animation for decades.

Mankind can make a huge step in space exploration, if you learn how to load the astronauts into hibernation for a long period of time. Reducing energy consumption will slow down the aging process. This will allow man to fly to Mars.

So far no safe way of introducing a person into suspended animation. Artificial catalepsy, suggested by experts that damage the brain after a week of hibernation. And there is no accurate information as to keep other organs and systems.
