American scientists have learned how to identify potential suicide

American scientists from the University of California found that the analysis of blood taken from people suffering from clinical depression, can be identified among them are human, prone to suicide. Only scientific work took part 122. In 29 of them had a high propensity to suicide, and 45 of them had less prone to suicide. Other volunteers included in the control group.

Researchers found that potential suicide a similar mood is associated with markers of inflammation in the blood. And the higher the level of inflammation, the more he manifested a tendency to self harm. Apparently, suicidal thoughts make a stressful situation more active, which in turn, affects the inflammatory markers in the blood.

According to the researchers, their discovery will help in the future to develop new methods of treatment for depression, as well as to create a special test that will identify patients who are prone to suicide.
