Antibiotics account for a large and significant part among all drugs that are currently used for treatment of various diseases. There are several basic group of antibacterial agents, which are divided into mechanism of action and the ultimate goal in the form of individual microorganisms. For several decades, have been developed dozens of generations of antibiotics, as with any of the older drugs comes into relative disrepair. The reason is that the bacteria resistant to a particular drug. In the treatment of bacterial infections is becoming more difficult, and scientists need to develop increasingly complex and expensive tools.
However, American scientists were able to create antibiotic resistant flora which never formed. Bacteria just can't get used to and begin to develop their protective agents. A group of scientists from northeastern University in Boston used the connection ADEP-4, which was taken as the basis of innovative antibiotic. A new tool has been tested on laboratory karst that have been infected a huge number of bacteria Staphylococcus. It was found that the drug can cure the infection in just one day.
Scientists have high hopes for this tool and plan to soon to test on human volunteers. If successful, it passes the medication will be licensed and put into mass production.
