Unexpected findings of researchers from the School of medicine Indiana University and the Foundation for applied molecular evolution in the United States. They suggested that the process of evolutionary development of the person has the ability to digest alcohol. The enzymes that break down alcohol, appeared in ancient man 10 million years ago.
Scientists have found: alcohol dehydrogenase (the enzyme that digest alcohol) in monkeys never was. Mutations at the genetic level "taught" the body of the future a reasonable person to cope with alcohol to feel intoxicated.
It is assumed that this change in the enzyme system pushed the ancient human development. Note, previously, scientists have found drawings made by Neanderthals. Until recently it was believed that Neanderthals were capable of such activities and were unable to communicate with each other.
